Calvert County government offices will remain closed Tuesday, Feb. 9, as clean-up continues after the weekend storm and crews prepare for another storm forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday.

County government offices and library branches will be closed Tuesday, along with Circuit and District courts. The Board of County Commissioners’ weekly meeting scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 9 is rescheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 16.

The Appeal Landfill and all Calvert County customer convenience centers will be open on Tuesday, Feb. 9, for residents needing trash disposal.

Calvert County government urges residents to be prepared for winter weather.

BGE will hold an Energy Management and Energy Assistance Application Event Friday, February 12,
4 - 8 p.m., at the Northeast Community Center in Chesapeake Beach.

Route 231 (Church Street) at Main Street will be temporarily closed for emergency sewer repairs.

The Calvert County Health Department has one remaining mass flu vaccination clinic scheduled for Thursday, February 11, 4-7 p.m.at Huntingtown High School.

Hours and fees are now set for the Edward T. Hall Aquatic Center which opens this spring.
