Early Voting

The Early Voting Center for Calvert County voters is located in the lower level conference room of the Community Resources Building, located at:

30 Duke Street (old library, across from post office)
Conference Room 1 - Lower Level

Primary Election: April 16, 2020 through April 23, 2020

Voting hours are 10 a.m.-8 p.m. for each day of Early Voting during the Primary.

General Election: October 22, 2020 through October 29, 2020

Voting hours are 8 a.m.-8 p.m. for each day of Early Voting during the General.

Absentee Voting

Maryland offers no-excuse absentee voting for any eligible registered voter, including for Overseas and Military Voters.

In order to vote absentee, you must apply before every election cycle.

Deadlines

Deadlines for absentee voting depend on how you want to receive your blank ballot.

For the 2020 Primary Election, your application must be received in our office (not just mailed) by:

  • Tuesday, April 21, 2020, if you want to receive your ballot by mail or fax
  • Friday, April 24, 2020, if you want to download your ballot from the State's website

For the 2020 General Election, your application must be received in our office (not just mailed) by:

  • Tuesday, October 27, 2020, if you want to receive your ballot by mail or fax
  • Friday, October 30, 2020, if you want to download your ballot from the State's website
