In 1995, a water park was added to the attractions at Chesapeake Beach. With eight water slides, a children's activity pool and a water volleyball area, the park has something for everyone. The park is open daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Chesapeake Beach is also a popular departure point for Chesapeake Bay fishermen. Both Breezy Point Marina and the Rod N' Reel Marina have active charter fishing boat fleets.
