    This clinic is designed for individuals with disabilities ages 6 and up to learn the basics of playing tennis. It will be instructed by the Calvert County Tennis Association. Please dress appropriately and bring water or a sports drink. Registration is appreciated.

    April 29, 10:00 AM - 10:45 AM @ Edward T. Hall Indoor Aquatic Center

    This program is designed for children with disabilities to have an open play time with a parent, guardian, or caregiver in the leisure pool at HAC. This is a play group to encourage the child to become more comfortable with the water, learn appropriate water play skills, experience the use of the slides, as well as being in a fun atmosphere during a less hectic time of a busy indoor aquatic facility. Siblings will be able to participate during this exclusive time period only if registered and accompanied by another adult for supervision. Pre-registration is required for this program.

    Please join the Calvert Artists' Guild for our meeting on April 27, 2019, Saturday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Solomons Asbury Clubhouse, 11740 Asbury Circle, Solomons, MD 20688.  We will have a brief business meeting and then join Sylvia Hill, a pastel artist, for “The Eyes Have It” where Sylvia will demonstrate how she draws those realistic eyes in pastel. Artists and guests will see signs at Asbury directing all to the parking area. Members can bring "finger foods" (no cutting required) to share.  Free to the public.   1. PUBLIC HEARING: Regarding the Approval of the Calvert County Comprehensive Plan

    April 30, 7:00 PM @ Calvert Pines Senior Center

    The Calvert County Board of County Commissioners will hold a Public Hearing to consider and receive comments on the proposed adoption of the Calvert County Comprehensive Plan. The Comprehensive Plan adopted thereafter will replace the current Calvert County Comprehensive Plan, adopted in 2005 and amended in 2010 and 2017.
