Calvert County FFY 2017 Emergency Solutions Grant

All agencies interested in applying for an Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) through the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) must complete and submit this form no later than COB Friday, March 31, 2017 to: ESG Coordinator, c/o the Calvert County Dept. of Community Resources, P.O. Box 90, Prince Frederick, MD 20678.

The Calvert County Government is the lead applicant for the ESG and, as a “non-entitlement jurisdiction,” it must compete statewide with other non-entitlement jurisdictions for pre-designated funding under the ESG program.

ESG policies and procedures require that all projects be screened for eligibility and specific criteria by the Calvert County Government as well as the Charles, Calvert and St. Mary’s Counties Continuum of Care. The Notification form can be found at the link provided below.

If your agency is planning to apply for ESG funds, please be aware of the significant lead time required for the local approval process. County staff is available to provide technical assistance and coordination on applications.
