How can I find out what use is permitted on my property? The Calvert County Zoning Ordinance, Article 3, contains a comprehensive listing of Land Uses.  

Setbacks

What are the setback requirements for my property?  Article 5 of the Calvert County Zoning Ordinance contains the setback requirements for residential uses.  Consult Article 6 for commercial setbacks.  Note: Each Town Center has its own setback requirements.  Contact the Department of Planning & Zoning for requirements within the Town Centers.

How can I determine what my land is zoned?  The Zoning Maps are not yet available on-line.  They are available by contacting the Department of Planning & Zoning.
