  1. Fall Foray - School's Out Adventure

    September 29, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM @ Ward Farm Recreation and Nature Park

    For children ages 8-10 years old, adults are not required Come explore the outdoors, meet new friends, discover new interests, and create memories that last a lifetime. We will spend the day exploring this new park - hiking through the woods, walking in the creek, and playing games. Bring water, a snack, lunch, bug spray, sunscreen. Wear clothes and shoes that can get wet and dirty. You’ll want a change of clothes for the way home and a towel. Location: Ward Farm Recreation and Nature Park Space is limited to 10 campers.   2. Monarch Day

    September 30, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM @ Kings Landing Park

    All ages, adult participation required Learn how your family can help monarch butterflies. After a short presentation and hands-on activities, you will venture outside to plant seeds and practice netting techniques. Please pre-register for one of the three sessions offered throughout the day. If you are interested in watching the 40-minute film Flight of the Monarchs, it will be shown between Sessions 2 & 3 from 12:30-1:15pm. You're welcome to bring a lunch to eat during the movie. Naturalists in charge: Lindsay Hollister and Shannon Steele Reservations are required by Thursday, September 28.
