  1. "Transitions" Gallery Art Show

    March 2, 11:00 AM - April 2, 5:00 PM @ Artworks@7th Fine Art & Unique Gifts

    For the month of March the photography, as well as other artistic, creative and imaginative talents of Southern Maryland’s own Lonnie Harkins will be featured at Artworks@7th. Leading you on a journey from traditional photography to the realm of Fine Art, the new show by Lonnie showcases his vision as seen through the camera lens as well as his artistic vision that comes from within. The show will run from March 2nd thru April 2nd with an Opening Reception and complimentary refreshments on Saturday, March 4th from 5:00-8:00 PM. So come on out, meet the artist, support your local arts community, and peruse the distinctive and unique works of Lonnie Harkins as well as the other creative and talented local artists offered throughout the gallery – you’ll be impressed with the artistic quality and creativity of the work and you might just find that something special for friends, family, or even for yourself!

  2. Calvert Artists Guild Spring Art Show

    March 25, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM @ Southern Maryland Sailing Assoc.

    The public is invited to enjoy and purchase the artworks of a dozen of the talented artists of Southern Maryland in mediums such as watercolor, acrylic, clay, textile, and jewelry. The Calvert Artists’ Guild was founded in 1978 to promote the appreciation and practice of fine arts and crafts in Calvert County.

  3. Historic Prince Frederick Stroll

    March 25, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM @ Calvert County Historical Society

    Welcome spring and revisit local history March 25 by joining the Calvert County Historical Society, Project ECHO and the “Ready, Set, Exercise Calvert! Couch to 5K Campaign” for an invigorating stroll through the county seat. The 25 to 30-minute stroll will start at the society’s office in Prince Frederick at 10 am and make key stops at Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church, the Phillips House, the watershed near the old library, with its wildlife markers and Kings Park.
