  1. PUBLIC MEETING ON SIGN REGULATIONS

    September 12, 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM @ College of Southern Maryland

    The Calvert County Planning Commission and the Board of County Commissioners held a joint public hearing regarding the proposed text amendments on sign regulations on August 22, 2017. The Planning Commission and the County Commissioners voted to keep the record open for 30 days. The Calvert County Department of Planning & Zoning will be hosting public meetings on the proposed sign regulations. Staff will make a presentation on the proposed sign regulations and answer questions. People who wish to provide comments to the Planning Commission and Board of County Commissioners will need to submit their comments in writing, either to staff at the meeting, or anytime via email/mail/fax by the close of the record at 4:30 PM on Thursday, September 21, 2017.

  1. PUBLIC HEARING - Calvert County Family Network Budget Adjustment

    The Calvert County Board of County Commissioners will hold a Public Hearing to consider and receive comments on Budget Adjustment 068 to adjust the FY18 operating budget to include additional competitive funding from the Governor’s Office for Children to support the Home Visiting Hybrid for High-risk Moms strategy. The Home Visiting Hybrid for High-risk Moms is a two-generational strategy that provides mental health counseling and support for substance abuse treatment to a cohort of high-risk mothers. The program also provides evidence-based home visiting services to help safeguard the health of their newborn and the stability of the family.
