  1. Kids Playwright Festival - Open to All School Aged Children in the State of Maryland

    February 15 - April 13

    The Twin Beach Players are hosting a playwriting competition, open to all school age children in the state of Maryland. The 6 winning playwrights receive $100.00!!!! Winners are announced no later than May 30, 2018. Then, auditions are held for the top 6 winning plays. Performances of the winning plays will be weekends August 10-August 19 at the North Beach Boys and Girls Club. All that enter receive a congratulatory commissioner’s certificate and coin at our VIP/Award night. Any school age child may send their original play entry to: TBP P.O. Box 600 Chesapeake Beach, MD, 20732 or email at kpf@twinbeachplayers.org ALL entries, prior to submission, MUST BE checked for proper spelling, grammar and punctuation.   2. KEN & BRAD KOLODNER QUARTET

    February 16, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Calvert Marine Museum

    The Maritime Performance Series presents KEN & BRAD KOLODNER QUARTET in the Harms Gallery. Doors open at 6 PM with beer and wine for sale. This dynamic father-son team pushes the boundaries of the American Old-Time tradition. Rachel Eddy's multi-instrumental talents and soulful singing bring an incredibly powerful energy to the group. Ralph Gordon brings more than 45 years of musical experience to the bass and cello. He is equally at home in folk, old time, swing, jazz, blues, bluegrass klezmer, chamber group settings and all styles of music for dancers.
