  1. Dunkin’ Hosts Grand Opening Celebration for New Prince Frederick Store with Free Coffee for a Year

    May 21, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

    Dunkin’ today announced it will host a grand opening celebration from 1-3 p.m. Tuesday, May 21 to unveil its newest store in Prince Frederick located at 30 Old Field Lane. To kick off the celebration at 1 p.m., the store is offering the first 100 guests Free Coffee For a Year.* Throughout the duration of the celebration, the store will also offer all guests a free Medium Hot or Iced Coffee.** Attendees will be invited to enjoy the Dunkin’ prize wheel, photo opportunities with Dunkin’ mascots Cuppy and Sprinkles,raffles and more. The store will host an official ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the store opening with franchisee network The Java Group, LLC. **Limit one per guest from 1-3 p.m. Excludes Cold Brew.

  1. PUBLIC HEARING: CDBG Grant Application Review - 21,000 sq. ft. Food Storage & Distribution Center

    The Calvert County Board of County Commissioners will hold a Public Hearing to consider and receive comments on the views of citizens on community needs in conjunction with the opportunity to review an application to assist in the construction of a 21,000 sq. ft. commercial grade food storage/distribution center at 6021 Solomons Island Rd., Huntingtown, MD. Citizens will be furnished with information including but not limited to: the amount of Community Development Block Grant funds expected to be made available for the current fiscal year; the range of activities that may be undertaken with CDBG funds; the estimated amount of the CDBG funds proposed to be used for activities that will meet the national objective of benefit to low and moderate income persons.The Maryland CDBG Program is a federally funded program designed to assist units of local government with activities directed toward neighborhood and housing revitalization, and economic development.
