Summary of Actions Taken
Presented a proclamation declaring September 10, 2008, as The United Way of Calvert County’s 14th Annual Day of Caring, urging all citizens to celebrate the commitment they have shown by increasing the capacity to care about one another and the community.
Presented a proclamation to Thomas E. “Tommy T.” Tettimer in recognition of his retirement after 27 years of dedicated service with the Calvert County Department of Public Works, Project Management Division.
Reappointed Harry E. Wedewer to the Heritage Committee.
Approved the Certification of Development Options application submitted by John T. Crane for his Agricultural Preservation District #02-15, certifying 52 development options.
Approved and signed the Public Access and Development Agreement with the Town of Chesapeake Beach granting a permanent access easement and temporary construction easement so the Chesapeake Beach Railway Trail can be constructed and maintained. Commissioner Kelley directed staff to provide a clarification on the restriction of animals.
