The Board will meet with staff to discuss the recommendations of the Employee Recognition
Committee for awarding the Pride and Quality Award.
This agenda is subject to change and the times listed are approximate.
If any items are added for consideration, they will be included on a
revised agenda that will be issued prior to the closed session.

Summary of Actions Taken
Presented a proclamation declaring the month of November as National Family Caregivers Month, honoring caregivers for the devotion, dedication, and support they provide to their aging, chronically ill, or disabled family members or friends.
Re-appointed MaryBeth Krovisky to the Board of Parks and Recreations.
Re-appointed Steve Zimmerman to the Building Board of Calvert County.
Appointed Mary J. Jenkins to the Commission on Aging.
Re-appointed Dana M. Noone to the Dunkirk Architectural Review Committee.
Awarded Chesapeake Publishing Corporation, of Easton, Maryland, the Printing of Calvert County’s Division of Parks and Recreation’s Winter Brochure. Directed staff to investigate the weight of the paper for possible cost savings as well as the cost of postage if the brochure is re-sized.
Extended the escrow timeframe for one year for the Lusby Village Green as requested by Mr. John Gott Jr.
Approved the Certification of Development Options application submitted by Andrew S. Riddile and Rita S. Riddile for their Agricultural Preservation District #06-10, totaling 45 Development Options.
Authorized staff to distribute the draft criteria for Private Roads and Highway User Revenues to the Drum Point Property Owners Association and the Property Owners Association of Chesapeake Ranch Estates for their comments with one revision to item #11 under the Conditions for Use of HUR from “within 72 hours” to “within three business days.”
Approved Budget Adjustment #114, transferring $38,000 from the Automobiles and Trucks budget to the Off-Road Equipment for System Maintenance budget in Water and Sewer. Directed staff to provide the Board with a list of equipment and materials needed for all Water and Sewer projects, how often the hoist-truck is borrowed from Highway Maintenance, and look into resource-sharing.
Held a public hearing regarding the proposed Animal Control Ordinance Amendments.
