The Board will meet with staff to discuss two potential property acquisitions.
This agenda is subject to change and the times listed are approximate.
If any items are added for consideration, they will be included on a
revised agenda that will be issued prior to the closed session.

Summary of Actions Taken
Tuesday, December 4, 2007
Designated the weeks of December 1, 2007, through January 2, 2008, for the Designated Driver Campaign, urging all Calvert County citizens to choose a designated driver for any upcoming holiday parties and not to provide alcohol to those under the age of 21.
Re-appointed Craig D. Mask to the Agriculture Commission.
Re-appointed George B. Spence Jr. and appointed Ellen D. Hardesty to the Agricultural Preservation Advisory Board.
Re-appointed Vice Admiral James B. Perkins, III, and appointed Roxanne Riddle Cumberland, Wanda W. DeBord, Mark A. MacDougall, and Ray Wernecke to the Calvert Marine Museum Board of Governors. Directed staff: 1) to provide the Commissioners with a copy of the Resolution, confirming that out-of-County residents are permitted to serve on this Board; 2) research if any of the other Committees permit out-of-County members; and 3) confirm Mr. Swain’s district.
Appointed Ethan W. Darrow to the Common Ownership Infrastructure Advisory Committee. Directed staff to inform the Board as to which Common Ownership community Mr. Darrow is a member.
Appointed Rowan Harris to the Southern Maryland Resource Conservation and Development Board of Directors.
Held a work session regarding the draft Calvert County Comprehensive Water and Sewerage Plan 2007 update. Approved the text changes as presented and directed staff to proceed with a public hearing on the revised Plan and maps. Once the public hearing has been held, staff will bring the comments and analysis back to the Board for approval.
Held a work session on the proposed revised Animal Control Ordinance. This work session will continue next Tuesday, December 11, 2007. Directed staff to provide the Board with the number of incidences where livestock has gotten out of its pen, and to provide with the fiscal impact of the proposed changes.
