BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
Summary of Action Taken
Tuesday, March 16, 2004
Presented a proclamation for Disability Awareness Month.
Appointed Robert Arscott to the Dunkirk Architectural Review Committee to fill a vacancy due to a term expiration.
Reappointed Maurice Lusby to the Planning Commission; appointed Laben J. McCartney to fill a vacancy due to a term expiration.
Reappointed Matthew Gambrill to the Solomons Architectural Review Committee.
Appointed Dr. Walter Boynton to the Zoning Board of Appeals, filling the unexpired term of Wilson Dowell. Approved that the alternate slot left by Dr. Boynton’s appointment be advertised.
Approved the recommendation that the Calvert Marine Museum Society host a third concert Sunday, July 18, 2004 and that the Museum close two hours early on the days of the concerts.
Approved an increase in the budget for the Solomons Harbor Study with funds coming from the Critical Area fees-in-lieu fund.
Awarded the contract for installation of backstops and fencing on fields five and six at Cove Point Park to the low bidder, Long Fence Company.
