Proclaimed the month of September as Life Insurance Awareness Month.

Received Calvert County 2005 Fair Books from the Calvert County Fair Board.

Approved Change Order No. 6 for the Breezy Point Park Pier Extension and Jetty Repair in the amount of $46,734 for the additional work to construct a revetment at the channel jetty due to damage caused by a Nor’easter.

Awarded the Traffic Control Devices Contract – Purch 2006-003 to Vulcan Signs of Foley, Alabama, to provide Highway Maintenance with a variety of street and traffic signs on an as-needed basis.

Awarded the Scuba and Skin Diving Equipment Contract – Purch 2006-007 to Atlantic Diving Supply of Virginia Beach, Virginia, in the amount of $24,283.94, to provided scuba and skin diving equipment, training, and service for the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office.
