The Department of Planning & Zoning began the process of updating all of the Town Center Master Plans in March 2007. To view the slideshow presented to the County Commissioners at that time, including the schedule for the updates, click here. Use the links to the left to visit each Town Center website. These sites include information on upcoming meetings as well as links to the current Town Center Master Plans and Zoning Ordinances.

Town Center Architectural Review Committees
The Board of County Commissioners has established Architectural Review Committees for each of Calvert County's Town Centers (excluding North Beach and Chesapeake Beach, as they are separate municipalities). The Architectural Review Committees review exterior design features of all structures as well as all signs within Town Centers in accordance with appearance standards and guidelines specified by the Master Plans and Zoning Ordinances for their respective Town Centers. The Committees also promote awareness of good design within the community and advise the County on matters relating to appearance or design within the Town Centers. The committees have the additional task of reviewing the Master Plans and Zoning Ordinances and making recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners.
