Division Overview
The Fleet Maintenance and Management Division is responsible for the overall maintenance and management of over 425 vehicles used by various agencies in county government. Services provided at the maintenance facility include general repair, scheduled preventative maintenance, road service, overseeing and coordination of bodywork repairs, management of the motor fuel system, writing new vehicle specifications, inspecting and receiving new vehicles and retiring unserviceable vehicles. During snow or any other emergency situation that requires motor vehicle support, Fleet Maintenance stays open continuously until the emergency is over.
