GIS Data Distribution

Calvert County GIS Data is available for distribution on request according to the terms of our License Agreement.

Digital GIS data is available for sale to commercial entities and private property owners.

This data is provided at no cost to:

• Local, State and Federal government agencies
• Educational institutions (research purposes)
• Public utilities providing services within Calvert County
• Communities undertaking projects through County Special Tax District infrastructure programs
• Land Trusts

Customers may create and print 11”x17” topographical maps by using the map viewer kiosk located in the Office of Inspections & Permits (County Services Plaza, Suite 201, 150 Main Street, Prince Frederick). The cost of each “self-service” map is $2.00.

SPECIAL ORDERS

Large format maps are available by order and priced according to size and complexity. Customer should submit a Topographic Map Request Form.

Digital topographic data can be purchased in .dwg format based on the Calvert County Tile System. The cost per 2,500’x2,500’ tile is $200. For digital data please submit the Data Request Form.

A signed request form, along with payment, must accompany all special orders. By signing this form, the requestor accepts the terms and conditions of the License Agreement.

ABOUT OUR DATA

The Calvert County GIS data is maintained to the best ability of Calvert County Government. GIS data is provided “as is” and users assume all risks associated with decisions based on this data. Topographic data is based on 2003 Aerial imagery and LiDAR data.
