Beginning in 2010, Maryland voters will have the
opportunity to vote early prior to Election Day.
The Early Voting Center will be in the lower level
conference rooms of the Community Resources
Building (same as office).

  • Tuesday, March 13, 2012, 9:00 p.m. - Last Day to Register to Vote in 2012 Presidential Primary Election
  • Saturday, March 24, 2012 - Thursday, March 29, 2012, 10:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. - Early Voting*
  • Tuesday, April 3, 2012, 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. - Primary Election Day

      *except Sunday, March 25, 2012 - Early Voting hours 12:00-6:00 p.m.

The Calvert County Election Board registers any eligible person who wishes to vote, and is responsible for all registrations for County, State, and National Elections, as well as the registrations for the Municipalities of the County. This office also helps persons seeking elective office with candidate filing and maintains electoral information.

The Calvert County Election Board is committed to providing the highest level of customer service to all voters and prospective voters in Calvert County.  We are dedicated to ensuring that all voters can vote in private, in a trouble-free environment, and be assured that their vote will count.

The Calvert County Board of Election Members meet monthly on the 4th Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in Conference Room 1, which is near the Election Board Office.
