Water Access
The Natural Resources Division provides opportunities for the public to access the water for fishing, crabbing, boating or beach combing. 

 Kayak and Canoe Launch
  • Kings Landing Park, 3255 Kings Landing Road, Huntingtown (200 ft. walk to Patuxent River, pier or natural shoreline) No fees.
  • SUP2U Rentals rents kayaks, canoes and stand-up paddle boards at Kings Landing Park. 
  • Flag Ponds Nature Park, 1525 Flag Ponds Parkway, Lusby (1/2 mile walk to Chesapeake Bay; natural shoreline, no ramp) Entrance fee charged.
  • Nan's Cove, 8081 Broomes Island Road, Broomes Island (direct access to Patuxent River, floating dock) No fees.
  • Solomons Boat Ramp and Fishing Pier, 14195 Solomons Island S, Solomons (direct access to Patuxent River, ramp) Ramp fee charged.

A valid Maryland fishing license is required for fishing.
