When winter weather is predicted, parks may be closed without notice. Please call the parks to verify if they are open. We do not treat the boardwalks and trails--they may be icy and slippery. Caution is advised when hiking.

SUMMER:  Monday-Friday: 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.; Saturday: 10 a.m.-6:00 p.m.; Sunday: 1-6:00 p.m. Free
HOLIDAYS: Closed most holidays.

Flag Ponds Nature Park:

REGULAR: Mondays and Fridays: 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; Weekends: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.  Gate, beach & pier close 1/2 hour before park closes. Reminder: an entry fee (or valid season pass) is required on weekends.
SUMMER: Mondays through Fridays: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; Weekends: 9 a.m.-8 p.m.  Gate, beach & pier close 1/2 hour before park closes. Reminder: an entry fee (or valid season pass) is required on weekdays and weekends.
HOLIDAYS: Open on most holidays; closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.

Regular Hours are for Fall-Spring (Labor Day through Memorial Day). 
Summer Hours are Memorial Day through Labor Day


Trail Closures
Battle Creek Cypress Swamp: The boardwalk is still under repair. Visitors can travel about half-way around the loop before turning back around.

Hughes Tree Farm:
Timber Operations are still ongoing. Visitors should avoid the work areas.

Solomons Fishing Pier: The replacement of the fishing pier decking is complete.
