ATTENTION: This evening, June 26, a court ordered 3 precincts in Baltimore City to stay open until 9:00 pm. As a result, we are waiting until voting in Baltimore City is over before releasing election results.

Public Demo

Calvert County Election Board will conduct a public demonstration of the Voting Equipment on Wednesday, June 13, 2018. This demonstration will occur at 1:00 pm in our warehouse at 30 Duke St in Prince Frederick (old library from post office). 

Canvass Dates
Absentee I -Thursday, June 28  
Provisional - Thursday, July 5 
Absentee II - Friday, July 6

The Calvert County Election Board will conduct canvassing of the 2018 Gubernatorial absentee and provisional ballots on the above dates. 

All of the canvassing, which is open to the public, begins at 10:00 am in Conference Room 1 of the Community Resources Building, Lower Level. (30 Duke St, Prince Frederick).

Voter Registration

The Calvert County Election Board registers any eligible person who wishes to vote and is responsible for all registrations for county, state, and national elections, as well as the registrations for the municipalities of the county. This office also helps persons seeking elective office with candidate filing and maintains electoral information.

The staff and board members of the Calvert County Election Board are committed to providing the highest level of customer service to all voters and prospective voters in Calvert County. We are dedicated to ensuring that all voters can vote in private, in a trouble-free environment, and be assured that their vote will count.

Early Voting
Early voting occurs over an 8-day period before Election Day. The Early Voting Center for Calvert County registered voters is located in the lower level conference rooms of the Community Resources Building (same as office). Board of Elections
The Calvert County Board of Election Members meet monthly on the fourth Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in Conference Room 1, near the Election Board Office.  The next regular meeting is scheduled for May 22, 2018.
