Twenty-three Calvert County communities will participate in National Night Out on August 1st

q  The focus of National Night Out is to increase police –community partnerships and cooperation and to enhance neighborhood safety and awareness.

q  Participating neighborhoods organize a community event that will bring their neighbors together for an evening of games, giveaways, music and food.   Law Enforcement, local fire and rescue personnel and many community organizations visit the locations to share information and meet the residents.  While this is a fun evening, the goal is to bring neighbors together in a positive environment to get to know one another and to work to build avenues for making their communities stronger and safer. 

Come join the community for a great night of family fun.   Meet your neighbors, local law enforcement and fire and EMS personnel.

Angela Mister Memorial Golf Tournament
DATE:  September 29, 2017
TIME:  8 a.m. - Registration
            9 a.m. - Shotgun Start
LOCATION:  Chesapeake Hills Golf Club, 11200 HG Trueman Road, Lusby, Maryland
DONATION:  $100 per golfer

Started in 2014, the Angela Mister Memorial Golf Tournament is held by Debbi and Greg Mister in memory of their beautiful daughter Angie.  The tournament is an opportunity to raise awareness to the dangers of drug abuse and to help raise funds for the Calvert Alliance Against Substance Abuse, Inc. (CAASA).  CAASA is a local non-profit whose mission is to involve the entire community to promote a healthy environment free of alcohol and other drug abuse.

Come out and enjoy 18 holes of golf (including cart), coffee and donuts, lunch menu, desserts, snacks and beverages on the course, goody bag for each golfer, door prizes, 50/50 raffle and more.
