Economic Development Commission
The commission acts in an advisory capacity to the BOCC to promote, encourage and improve the county's general economic well-being through the expansion of employment opportunities, the increase of tax revenues, the provision of liaison between local businesses and local / state / federal agencies, and the efficient utilization of county resources.

There shall be at least nine, but no more than 15, members appointed by the BOCC. The term of each member shall be three years and members may not serve for more than three consecutive full terms. Members must complete financial disclosure statements annually.

  • The commission meets the second Wednesday of January, March, June, September and December at 8:30 a.m.
