Coaches

An essential part of all youth sports programs is the volunteer coach.

The Division of Parks and Recreation is continually looking for adults to coach in various sports programs offered throughout the county - including soccer, football, cheerleading, basketball, baseball, softball, lacrosse and wrestling.

Interested persons need only pick up the phone and call the Sports Office at 410-535-1600 or 301-855-1243 ext. 2227 or 2229 during regular business hours Monday through Friday, to volunteer a few hours of their time for a worthwhile and rewarding experience!

Without volunteers, some children may not get an opportunity to play. Coaching is a worthwhile and rewarding experience. A few hours of your time each week will make a lot of children happy.
