Summary of MDA proposed changes to Nutrient Management Regulations

Determination from Ethics Board on Family Members being appointed to APAB and/or APAC at the same time.   (To be discussed during meeting, not distributed in packets.)

Old Business

 

a.

APD # 87-05 Sylvia Wood Property – Tax Map 26, Parcel 33 – BOCC approved the revision of the APD Boundary to fix the legal description.

 

b.

APD # 02-14 & APD # 02-15 SMECO Switching Station – on covenant modifications.   County Attorney has approved.  Forms are being revised.  Will go to the BOCC soon.

7.

New Business

 

a.

APD # 07-02 John Crane / John Herbert Estate - District B – 87.346 acres – Request to revise APD boundaries.   Deferred by County Attorney. Withdrawn by applicant.  Is re-recording the district to match what was originally approved by the APAB per the CAO request.

 

b.

APD # 02-13 Leonard Ogden – Tax Map 23, parcel 21 – Request for written verification of eligible lots.

 

c.

Discussion on proposed Zoning Ordinance changes – This is a rather informal discussion, but some follow up to the public hearing (or lack of) is in order.   Topics include:  limiting events to APDs, limiting rental events, public events, nurseries & commercial greenhouses to farms on arterial or collector roads - clarification that the number of rental events per year was not proposed to be limited, as well as anything else the Board or Committee would like to discuss.  Please note, the public events & rental events are completely withdrawn at this time pending additional work sessions with the PC & the BOCC.  Commercial greenhouses & nurseries are open for public comment for two weeks before the Planning Commission will look at them again.  Please see arterial & collector road map.
