WATER RESOURCES ELEMENT OF THE
CALVERT COUNTY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN

The Department of Planning & Zoning is in the process of updating the Comprehensive Plan in accordance with HB 1141, a new State law which requires counties to analyze the impact of existing and future sewage treatment plants, septic systems, stormwater management devices and land uses on their respective watersheds. The Board of County Commissioners has adopted a pro-active strategy for completing the plan within the state deadline of October, 2009.
