Programs

Healthy Families
A voluntary home visitation program for pregnant women/women with children under 3 months of age that provides parent training, referral services, child development activities, and role models for effective parenting.

Local Access Mechanism - Family Access Center operated by Tri-County Youth Services Bureau, Inc. 
located at 3695 Hallowing Point Road (Route 231), Suite 6, Prince Frederick, MD. Phone: 443-975-7357.  A single point of access to improve utilization of existing resources and assist with the identification of needed services.   Click here to email System Navigator or  Family Navigator who work one-on-one with families to:

  • assess your family's needs;
  • provide information on available community services;
  • contact the appropriate people at community agencies;
  • set up appointments; and
  • follow up with you to make sure your needs are being met.

Tri-County Youth Services Bureau, Inc. - Youth Interventionist
Provides intervention services and youth development programming to Children in Need of Supervision (CINS).

 

Saturday Schools
Program operates October through May in three Calvert County public middle schools.  Activities vary according to the needs of the individual school and may include tutoring and active learning centers; drop-in programs; recreation activities; parent workshops; support groups; individual counseling and cultural activities; organizational study and test taking techniques.

 

Asset Development
Ongoing collaboration with the Calvert Collaborative for Children & Youth to promote Asset Development throughout Calvert County.  Grounded in extensive research in youth development, resiliency, and prevention, the Developmental Assets developed by
