This seasonal facility includes a children’s wading pool, a leisure pool with various slides and water features, and a 25-meter, eight lane dive well with a half-meter & one-meter diving boards. and concession stand.

Passes will go on sale starting May 1, 2012, at the main office of the Division of Parks and Recreation at 205 Main Street in Prince Frederick, Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Southern Community Center, Monday Through Saturday 10:00a.m. to 8:00p.m. and at the Hall Aquatic Center, Sunday through Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The pool will open to the public daily beginning Saturday, May 26, 2012 through Monday, September 3, 2012.

**Children 12 years of age and younger require supervision by a responsible person 16 years of age or older. Children 5 and under require in pool supervision by a responsible person 16 years of age or older.

CPP & KLP Summer pass holders will receive a $1.00 off daily admission per pass holder to HAC. HAC Summer and Annual pass holders will receive a $1.00 off daily admission per pass holder to CPP. (Passes are non-transferable)

Daily Admission – All patrons entering the facility must pay the daily admission rate regardless if they are swimming unless they are accompanying a participant in a parks and recreation program (i.e. swim lessons and swim team).

Household - Includes those who permanently reside at a residence or house, up to five people. Households do not include home daycares, baby sitters, or any other places or business or group of people

Winter Pass – Valid from date of purchase to 12 months later excluding summer (Saturday of Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day Monday).

Summer Pass –Valid from Saturday of Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day Monday.

Punch Pass - Valid for 20 admissions at HAC or 10 admissions at CPP or KLP. Only valid at facility it is purchased for. Expires one year from date of purchase or end of summer season at CPP or KLP

These programs are designed to teach basic competitive swimming skills, build self-esteem, and improve strokes. Children must be able to swim at least one length of the pool without assistance in order to participate during tryouts. Practices are weekdays with the schedule to be determined by the swim coach and will be posted on our website in May. Children will learn the four competitive swimming strokes and compete in meets. Competitions require numerous parent volunteers in order to function. Be prepared assist!

Cost: $130.00 for the first child in the family, $115.00 for the second child in the family, $105.00 for each additional child in the family.

Ages: Registration is age specific for 6 to 18 year olds. The cut-off date for the age verification is May 30, 2011. Your child must be 6 on or before this date.

Cove Point Crocs competes in the Southern Maryland Swim League with meets in Calvert and St. Mary’s Counties. Competitions are Tuesday and Thursday evenings in June and July. Summer practices are weekday mornings 8-10 a.m. at Cove Point Pool. After school/weekend practices will be determined at a later date. Registration will close June 16, 2011.

Advanced reservations required for ALL groups. Contact the Aquatic Supervisor at 410-535-1600, ext. 2673. Saturday and Sunday evening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. are designated as Open/Group Swim nights. During these hours the pool is open for general admission, pass/coupon holders and groups with 25-320 persons may attend at the special group rate. Regular rates apply at other times or if no reservation is made.

From Route 4, turn east onto Cove Point Road (497). Continue on Cove Point Road straight through traffic light at HG Truman Road for about .5 miles. Turn left into Cove Point Park and follow park road. Pool will be on your left.
