This seasonal facility includes a 6 lane pool with a half-meter diving board and a double water slide.

The pool will open to the public daily beginning Saturday, May 26, 2012 through Monday, September 3, 2012.

Passes will go on sale starting May 1, 2012, at the main office of the Division of Parks and Recreation at 205 Main Street in Prince Frederick (410-535-1600, ext 2225) or at the facility during any operational day from noon until 7:30 p.m.

Monday and Wednesday, 12 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 12 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday, 12 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.

**Children 12 years of age and younger require supervision by a responsible person 16 years of age or older. Children 5 and under require in pool supervision by a responsible person 16 years of age or older.

CPP & KLP Summer pass holders will receive a $1.00 off daily admission per pass holder to HAC. HAC Summer and Annual pass holders will receive a $1.00 off daily admission per pass holder to CPP. (Passes are non-transferable)

Daily Admission – All patrons entering the facility must pay the daily admission rate regardless if they are swimming unless they are accompanying a participant in a parks and recreation program (i.e. swim lessons and swim team).

Household - Includes those who permanently reside at a residence or house, up to five people. Households do not include home daycares, baby sitters, or any other places or business or group of people

Winter Pass – Valid from date of purchase to 12 months later excluding summer (Saturday of Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day Monday).

Summer Pass –Valid from Saturday of Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day Monday.

Punch Pass - Valid for 20 admissions at HAC or 10 admissions at CPP or KLP. Only valid at facility it is purchased for. Expires one year from date of purchase or end of summer season at CPP or KLP

It is recommended that you create a household account in advance as described on the online registration page by calling the Hall Aquatic Center at 410-414-8350 or the Main Office at 410-535-1600, ext 2225.

Due to past low enrollment, swim lesson at Kings Landing are no longer offered, but will be available at the Hall Aquatic Center and Cove Point Pool.

These programs are designed to teach basic competitive swimming skills, build self-esteem, and improve strokes. Children must be able to swim at least one length of the pool without assistance in order to participate during tryouts. Practices are weekdays with the schedule to be determined by the swim coach and will be posted on our website in May. Children will learn the four competitive swimming strokes and compete in meets. Team swim suits and other gear to be purchased separately. Questions can be directed to the Aquatic Supervisor at 410-535-1600, ext 2673 or graykm@co.cal.md.us. Competitions require numerous parent volunteers in order to function. Be prepared to assist!

Cost: $130.00 for the first child in the family, $115.00 for the second child in the family, $105.00 for each additional child in the family.

Ages: Registration is age specific for 6 to 18 year olds. The cut-off date for the age verification is May 30, 2012. Your child must be 6 on or before this date.

Kings Landing team competes in the Prince-Mont Swim League with meets in Calvert, Charles, Prince Georges and Montgomery Counties. Competitions are Saturday mornings in June and July. Summer practices are weekday mornings 9 to 11:45 a.m. and Monday and Wednesday evenings 5-7:45 p.m. at Kings Landing Pool. After school practices will be determined at a later date. LIMITED REGISTRATION
Registration will begin for past swim team participants March 20 through April 27, 2012.
New participants registration/wail list enrollment will begin Wednesday, May 2 if space if available. Call the Hall Aquatic Center for more information or to register at 410-414-8350, ext 1.

PARENTS MEETING
Informational meeting for parents/guardians will be held on Wednesday, May 2 at 7pm at the Patuxent Hall in Kings Landing Park. The meeting is to provide parents the opportunity to meet the coaching staff, ask questions and receive general information.

SKILLS TEST FOR NEW SWIM TEAM PARTICIPANTS
Participants must past a swim test that requires them to swim the length of the pool which will be done on Saturday, May 12 at 10:00am at the Hall Aquatic Center

From Route 4 South, turn west/right onto Old Town Road (524). In approximately .2 miles , turn west/right onto Hunting Creek Road (521) for about 1 mile. Hunting Creek Road becomes Huntington Road. Turn slight left onto Kings Landing Road and travel about 2.4 miles through the park. Make slight left at fork in road at Community Center. Facility will be on the right.

From Route 4 North, turn west/left onto Old Town Road (524) at traffic light. In approximately .2 miles , turn west/left onto Hunting Creek Road (521) for about 1 mile. Hunting Creek Road becomes Huntington Road. Turn slight left onto Kings Landing Road and travel about 2.4 miles through the park. Make slight left at fork in road at Community Center. Facility will be on the right.
