S.A.L.T.

Seniors And Law enforcement Together, SALT, is a community-based police program composed of prevention initiatives specifically targeted at reducing crimes against seniors. SALT uses an advisory council com-posed of a committee of senior, seniors’ service providers, and police officer's. Crime related issues are brought to the attention of the advisory council by the seniors’ community. The purpose of the council is to propose resolutions to crime related issues and develop preventative programs.
