Division Overview
Calvert County, through the Public Transportation Division of the Department of Community Resources, serves the transportation needs of the general public, as well as the elderly and persons with disabilities. The county provides two fixed routes and four deviated routes to link residents with major shopping, medical, and employment, as well as with public services available in Prince Frederick. The county also provides limited service on Saturday
There are four demand response routes for our Para Transit services that operate Monday through Friday within the county, one between Prince Frederick and destinations to the north; one between Prince Frederick and destinations to the south; one with the North Beach and Chesapeake Beach, Owings area; and one for clients that need transportation to dialyses.
