Vote Centers
There will be five vote centers open on Election Day, November 3, 2020. Calvert County residents may go to any of the vote centers that is most convenient for them. The polls are open from 7 am to 8 pm.

Also the Community Resources Building will also be open as an early vote center starting on Monday, October 26 through Monday, November 2 (including Saturday and Sunday). The early vote center hours are 7 am to 8 pm each day.

Mail-in Ballot Canvassing.
Update! Update! There will be no canvass for tomorrow November 10, 2020. We will still canvass on November 12th and November 13th.

Beginning October 8, 2020 - Mail-in Ballot Canvassing. The canvass will start at 9:00 am. The canvass is open to the public by remote viewing.

Beginning October 9, 2020 - Board Decision Review. The Board of Canvassers will meet at 2:00 pm in order to review ballots. If you registered before 10/05/2020, please register with the new link below. The board review meeting is open to the public by remote viewing.

October 13, 2020 - Voter Registration Deadline. The voter registration application must be postmarked on or before October 13. You have until 9:00 pm if registering to vote online, If you missed the voter registration deadline, you may still do same day registration during early voting and on election day at the vote centers.
October 20, 2020 - Mail In Ballot request deadline.
October 22, 2020 - Public presentation about the voting equipment at 1:00 pm. This is open to the public by remote viewing. Please use the link below to register

October 26 through November 2 (7:00am - 8:00pm) - Early Voting at 30 Duke St, Prince Frederick and includes Saturday and Sunday.
November 3 (7:00am-8:00pm) - Election Day. There will be five vote centers on election day. See below.
November 12 (10:00 am) - Provisional Canvass.
Mail In Ballots
The last day to request a mail in ballot is October 20, 2020. We must receive the application (not just postmarked) by this date.
Update! October 15, 2020. The rest of the ballot drop boxes are being delivered today! They will be in place by 5:00 pm. They will be available 24/7 until 8:00 pm on November 3, 2020.

Building Closed To Public
Due to the continuing state of emergency, our office and building are closed to the general public.
However, we are still operating during our normal business hours of 8:30am to 4:30pm. While we cannot assist in person, we are still available to answer any questions via phone or email:

The Calvert County Election Board registers any eligible person who wishes to vote and is responsible for all registrations for county, state, and national elections, as well as the registrations for the municipalities of the county. This office also helps persons seeking elective office with candidate filing and maintains electoral information.
The staff and board members of the Calvert County Election Board are committed to providing the highest level of customer service to all voters and prospective voters in Calvert County. We are dedicated to ensuring that all voters can vote in private, in a trouble-free environment, and be assured that their vote will count.

Early Voting
Early voting occurs over an 8-day period before Election Day. The Early Voting Center for Calvert County registered voters is located in the lower level conference rooms of the Community Resources Building (same as office). The Calvert County Board of Election Members meets on the third Wednesday of the month at 10:00 a.m.
